When to Use: Best used for detecting and monitoring moisture in materials.

How It Works: Uses a non destructive electronic signal  based on low frequency impedance. When materials are dry, the resistance is high and the signals are insulated from one another when the material is wet the resistance is decreased and the meter reads the amount of moisture that is in the material.
